“It becomes difficult” – Vieri praises ‘top-four’ capable Milan for Ramos signing

Christian Vieri spoke this morning and offered some praise to AC Milan for their signing of a top striker in Goncalo Ramos.

In Italy, Ramos’ numbers so far haven’t really impressed. The Portuguese left with an assist, but his only contribution before that was a goal against Venezia. He’s certainly been a little quiet, but the hope is that he’ll now come alive.

During the international break, he got three goals and an assist, electrifying form. In fact, his form was overlooked a little due to the situation with Cristiano Ronaldo. Nevertheless, he’s not paying attention to it, focusing on himself and the team.

Of course, this is Ramos anyway, though. Someone who is happy to sacrifice himself for the greater good of the team and this won’t stop being the way forward, it seems.

Praise for Milan and Ramos

This morning, Christian Vieri spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanPress and praised the Rossoneri for the signing.

“Milan are a top four team with Gonçalo Ramos; as we saw against Portugal, they have finally, after years, found a great centre forward. But like all centre forwards, he needs to be found more. Want goals? More balls to play with. Otherwise, it becomes difficult to say whether he can do well or not.

Is Ramos better than Kolo Muani?

“I’d say he’s more of a centre forward. Kolo plays more for the team. From what I see, if he doesn’t score a goal a game, he doesn’t go crazy; he’s even happy to set up a teammate. However, without Vlahovic and David, Juventus needs him [Kolo Muani] to score more.”
