“I don’t think he’ll move” – Key figure from Endrick’s agency pours cold water on Milan links

A representative of Endrick’s agency Roc Nation Sports has commented on the possibility of a January move for their client.

It is absolutely no secret that Milan are pursuing the signing of Endrick in the winter window, having tried to get him in the summer too. The latest suggestions from various sources is that the Rossoneri face a battle with Roma to land him on an initial six-month loan deal.

Head coach Ruben Amorim was even asked about the potential of landing the former Palmeiras starlet during his pre-Sassuolo press conference yesterday, handing the floor to owner Gerry Cardinale who is understood to have been personally handling negotiations.

‘He just needs opportunities’

Is a January deal plausible? Alan Redmond – the Global Head of Football at Roc Nation Sports International, who represent Endrick – spoke to Adnkronos about the future of the Brazilian. His words are via Calciomercato.com.

“In Endrick’s case, he’s always said he wants to stay at Real Madrid, and I’m convinced that this season, when he gets the chance, he’ll score a lot of goals. I can confirm that there was a lot of interest in him in the summer, from various countries, but his goal was never to leave Spain.

“We’ve had some conversations about other players like Luis Henrique and Fofana. Roma is an incredible club, but we’ve only had discussions. The deals you mentioned were never close to being finalised.

“The financial aspect isn’t important; the player evaluates the club’s project. We’re talking about a player with the qualities to be at Real Madrid – he just needs opportunities.

“Endrick came from a loan spell at Lyon and played very well in France, then he had some problems, and I think it was also quite frustrating for him not to be at his best physically.

“However, the idea has always been to stay in Madrid. We’ll see what happens in the future, but honestly, I think he’ll stay at Real Madrid for a long time. That’s my opinion. I don’t think he’ll move. The clubs mentioned are fantastic, but I don’t think he’ll go play anywhere else.”
