Bournemouth welcome Italian giants AC Milan in the Europa League, looking for a memorable win.
The Cherries have won their first two games in their maiden European campaign, with victories over Real Sociedad and Sturm Graz.
Milan boss Ruben Amorim returns to England for the first time since leaving Manchester United in January. His side will be looking for a third consecutive victory after wins against Salzburg and Atalanta.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the game…
Kick-off time
Bournemouth v AC Milan kicks off at 8pm UK time at the Vitality Stadium.
How to watch
The game will be aired on TNT Sports 1, HBO Max (UK) and TNT Sports Ultimate.
Bournemouth team news
Bournemouth will continue to be without star player Eli Junior Kroupi who was back in training this week after injuring his foot in pre-season. However, this fixture comes too early for the Frenchman.
Alex Scott will also be unavailable after picking up an injury during the international break. Julián Araujo is also injured.
Defender Veljko Milosavljevíc has been in action for the under-21 team as he steps up his recovery from an injury sustained in May.
AC Milan team news
Milan will be without defender Matteo Gabbia and winger Alexis Saelemaekers, who remain sidelined.
Filippo Terracciano is also unavailable after being sent off against Salzburg.
Amorim confirmed that striker Gonçalo Romes has a fitness issue, although it is “nothing serious.”
The manager also said that Alphadjo Cissè will play after scoring a hat-trick against Salzburg.
What has Marco Rose said?
Marco Rose has played down talk of this being the biggest game in Bournemouth’s history.
He said: “It is a huge game and we are looking forward to it, but the club has played a much bigger game before.
“Many years ago, after the points deduction, they needed to win their last game at home [against Grimsby] and Steve Fletcher scored the winning goal. That’s the foundation of why we are here now, playing these kinds of games.
“We feel we’re in a good spot. We have created a good momentum for ourselves now and we should use that to our advantage.”
What has Ruben Amorim said?
Amorim has praised his opponents and looked back on his time as Manchester United manager.
“Every match is important. This will be our third group-stage game and another test of where we stand. We’re going there to win.
“There are always technical and tactical aspects we need to improve, and we still have a long way to go. Bournemouth has quality and plays at a high tempo. They have some excellent players who are strong in one-on-one situations.
“They’ve made a few changes since I faced them as Manchester United manager, but they haven’t lost their identity. I’m returning to England as AC Milan manager. I loved Manchester United, but I’m not thinking about the past. I feel I’m a better coach now, but I believe I’m still the same person I was before.”
