Gonçalo Ramos’ Milan struggles continue in 4-2 loss vs. Bologna
Gonçalo Ramos’ struggles at Milan continue, as the Portuguese forward failed to make an impact in a 4-2 home defeat to Bologna, recording no shots on target and creating no scoring chances.
Milan striker Ramos has been failing to justify his €73m price tag this season, scoring just three goals in 11 appearances across all competitions.
How many goals has Ramos scored with Milan?
On Wednesday, he once again failed to deliver as Milan lost 4-2 at home to Bologna, suffering their first Serie A defeat this term.
As reported by Gazzetta, Ramos had no impact against the Rossoneri, making just 31 touches and registering no shots, no assists, and no chances created.
Ramos has scored two goals in nine Serie A matches so far and one in two Europa League appearances.
Gazzetta, however, highlights that the ex-PSG forward is ‘more of a victim of circumstances than a culprit’ as Ramos ‘isn’t a traditional penalty-box striker’ as he prefers to drop deep to collect the ball to bring his teammates into play.
Despite Ramos’ struggles, Milan have scored 18 goals in nine league games so far, making them the fourth-best attack after Inter (25), Roma (23) and Lazio (22).
