AC Milan have no time to rest and enjoy the Udinese win, because they play in just 48 hours against Bologna at San Siro.

The victory over Udinese last night was a good response after the midweek defeat in Bournemouth. However, two more big games are coming in the next six games, with Bologna and city rivals Inter the opponents on Wednesday and Saturday night respectively.

The latest from Milanello suggests that Mario Gila, Diego Moreira and Adrien Rabiot will all miss the match against the Rossoblu, having also sat out the game in Udine. No undue risks will be taken given the magnitude of the game at the weekend.

AC Milan’s predicted XI vs. Bologna

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ruben Amorim will stick with the same back four of Fikayo Tomori, Koni De Winter, Strahinja Pavlovic and Sankhoun Diawara. They are started ahead of Mike Maignan at the Stadio Friuli and were able to keep a clean sheet.

However, the coach plans to freshen things up in the central areas, with Yunus Musah giving Luka Modric a rest, and Alphadjo Cisse replacing Christian Pulisic as the attacking midfielder behind Goncalo Ramos.

Ardon Jashari is tipped to keep his spot in the double pivot. Omari Hutchinson and Davide Bartesaghi – who seemed to thrive in a more advanced role on the left – are also expected to retain the faith of Amorim.

Predicted Milan XI (4-4-1-1): Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic, Diawara; Hutchinson, Musah, Jashari, Bartesaghi; Cisse; Ramos.
