The big day is here! Milan-Inter is scheduled for this evening and the newspaper certainly made sure to give the game a lot of coverage today.

Due to the defeat against Bologna mid-week, the hype hasn’t been as big as perhaps expected ahead of this derby. Milan could have been just four points behind Inter, but right now, the distance is seven points and could thus be increased to ten points.

In short, the Rossoneri cannot really afford to lose the game, at least if they are actually serious about wanting to fight for the Scudetto. Ruben Amorim suggested during his presser that it remains a goal, so how his team will approach the game will be very interesting to see.

The front pages

Gazzetta dello Sport

“100 years of this derby at San Siro.”

“Beautiful duel. The risk for Milan: falling 10 points behind the top. The taboo of Inter: they haven’t won the last 7 derbies.”

Corriere dello Sport

“Milan’s fear: If Amorim doesn’t beat Chivu, they will end up 10 points behind.

“Pulisic is the Inter killer.”

Tuttosport

“Derby chills. Intimidating derby on the night of Halloween.”

“Amorim sees the -10 ghost but aims high: We are still eyeing the Scudetto.”
