Footy Headlines: ‘An unexpected blend’ – Puma to end Milan kit run with ‘streetwear’ third shirt
Today, some news has emerged about AC Milan’s possible new third shirt for the 2027-28 season and the colours it’ll be.
The big kit news today has been the move to Adidas and how much Milan will pocket from it. After signing with Puma on a deal worth €16 million per season, they renewed on a €30m per season deal for the ‘second half’ of their relationship.
Puma’s final kit
According to Footy Headlines, the third kit will feature an ‘unexpected blend’ of colours, with a ‘Dark Umber’ and ‘Court Grey’ design. The former is an almost-black, brownish colour, whilst the latter is a ‘mid-tone’.
To contrast this, the detailing on the shirt will be ‘vibrantly’ red, to ensure it still stands out. A kit with another ‘streetwear’-y feel to it, it will try to merge with a sophisticated look, too.
Of course, this will also be the final ‘traditional’ kit produced by the brand – in terms of a home, away and alternative shirt – and it almost reflects the end of the partnership. Based on the initial leaks of the home and away shirts, it seems like a nice mix of shirts to see off the brand’s relationship.
