AC Milan will not have their usual vocal backing in one week for the Udinese game as the Curva Sud have announced a boycott.

The Curva will not be present at the Bluenergy Stadium in Udine on October 25th for the Udinese-Milan match. The decision was announced in a social media statement, which highlighted the price as the main reason.

Milan’s ultras are once again taking a hardline stance when it comes to what they think is fair pricing, given Udinese are asking for €65 for away sector tickets. The Curva Sud have again implored Lega Serie A to impose a price cap on away tickets.

“UDINESE-MILAN: 65 EUROS. THE SHAME REPEATS ITSELF! The organised fan base will not be present in Udine! A year ago, we expressed our dissent at the prices in the away section imposed by the Friulian club due to legalised ticket scalping (with the tacit approval of the League),” the statement begins.

“Today, unfortunately, we realise that nothing has changed! Our decision is clear: we no longer intend to support clubs that shamelessly profit from visiting fans based on their fan base.

“It is no longer conceivable or acceptable that for the same away seat, some fans pay €20 (a right and proper thing we have been fighting for for years), while others see the price of tickets triple simply because they are able to fill often empty stadiums.

“Equally intolerable is the management of away tickets: we are in 2026 and fans who ALWAYS follow their team away are not entitled to any sort of pre-emption, let alone a reserved quota of tickets.

“We therefore call on all AC Milan fans from all regions not to side with these jackals by deserting the away section and the Curva Sud section in Udine en masse, to send a strong signal against this rotten system! (This price war is a battle that concerns everyone, without distinction.)

“Curva Sud Milano + AIMC-Italian Association of Milan Clubs.”

As mentioned, it is not the first time that the group have spoken out about the ticket price issue. They complained about the price hike for the Juventus games last season – both home and away – while Torino were also the target of their criticism.
