Brazil and Ancelotti call three Serie A players for friendly matches
Carlo Ancelotti has called three Serie A players for Brazil’s friendly matches against Japan and Singapore, Inter’s Carlos Augusto, Roma winger Wesley and Torino goalkeeper Lucas Perri.
The Italian coach is naturally keeping a close eye on Serie A football to identify form players for his Seleçao.
Brazil are set to play a couple of friendly matches during the November break for international duty.
They will be up against Japan on November 14, then Singapore in a lucrative opportunity on November 17.
Versatile Inter defender Carlos Augusto can play in a back three, on the right of a five-man midfield or the left, and is their top scorer in the Champions League this season.
Roma winger Wesley is also able to cover either flank, but in a more exclusively attacking role.
Torino goalkeeper Perri arrived over the summer from Leeds United, on loan with option to buy at the end of the season for €16m.
