Amorim gets his response: Instant reaction to Genoa 1-2 AC Milan

By: Isak Möller

Stefano recorded his reaction to AC Milan’s win against Genoa straight after the full-time whistle, highlighting the importance of the result.

There was some anxiety heading into today’s game, given the confidence beating earlier this week and the recent form of Genoa. However, within just 20 minutes, Milan found themselves two goals to the good and were able to control most of the game from there on.

Genoa did make things interesting with a late goal, finding the back of the net from long range, but it wasn’t enough for the Rossoblu in the end. Ruben Amorim and his men thus clinched their second consecutive win in the league, restoring some order.

In his instant reaction, Stefano shared his thoughts on the performance and how some of the players responded to the criticism. He also said a few well-chosen words about the referee, Davide Massa, who made some strange calls during the game which weren’t exactly in Milan’s favour
