  • Hearts sit top of the standings despite last week's defeat to Rangers

  • Celtic have scored crucial late goals in their last three domestic games

  • Livingston sit eight points adrift at the bottom of the standings

With just three points separating the top three in the Scottish Premiership standings, there are sure to be plenty of twists and turns to come between now and the end of the season in a captivating title race.

Hearts, Rangers and Celtic will all be in action this weekend and we have provided a score prediction for all six matches taking place in the Scottish top-flight across Saturday and Sunday.

Aberdeen vs Dundee (Saturday, 3pm)

Aberdeen have won three on the bounce on home soil, including a 2-0 success over in-form Motherwell in the Scottish Cup. Against a Dundee side that have won just once in 14 away matches in the league, they can come out on top.

Score prediction: Aberdeen 2-0 Dundee

Dundee United vs Kilmarnock (Saturday, 3pm)

Kilmarnock may have let a two-goal lead slip to lose in dramatic fashion against Celtic last weekend, but they are improving under Neil McCann, particularly in the final third. Hosts Dundee United also know where the back of the net is, with each of their last four games featuring a minimum of three goals.

Score prediction: Dundee United 2-2 Kilmarnock

Hearts vs Falkirk (Saturday, 3pm)

Hearts saw their title hopes dented with defeat at Rangers last weekend but they remain top of the standings and can bounce back on home soil against Falkirk, as they are unbeaten at Tynecastle this season (setting aside penalty shootouts).

Falkirk did knock Derek McInnes' side out of the Scottish Cup via spot kicks last month, but they have lost both league meetings with the table toppers and may come unstuck in the capital.

Score prediction: Hearts 2-0 Falkirk

St Mirren vs Motherwell (Saturday, 7.30pm)

Motherwell's impressive season has been going under the radar due to the exploits of Hearts, but they have drawn too many matches on their travels, sharing the spoils in seven of their 12 road games. St Mirren could, therefore, frustrate their high-flying visitors in Paisley.

Score prediction: St Mirren 0-0 Motherwell

Celtic vs Hibernian (Sunday, 3pm)

After leaving it late to win their last three domestic matches, Celtic were brought back down to earth by Thursday's 4-1 humbling on home soil against Stuttgart in the Europa League and they may not be fully recovered for this visit of Hibernian.

Hibs can certainly push Martin O'Neill's side all the way — they drew 0-0 at Parkhead earlier in the season — but Celtic could find a way to get over the line once again.

Score prediction: Celtic 2-1 Hibernian

Livingston vs Rangers (Sunday, 3pm)

Rangers are the Premiership's form side under Danny Rohl and they should have no problem extending their unbeaten run in the competition to 11 matches when they visit bottom club Livingston.

Livi did secure their first point under Marvin Bartley last time out and can keep this competitive, but they are eight points adrift at the bottom of the standings and without a win since August.

Score prediction: Livingston 1-3 Rangers
