Hearts are six points clear of Celtic and Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership
Rock-bottom Livingston have picked up just 11 points from 24 matches so far
Fourth-placed Motherwell are only five points off the Old Firm duo
Hearts will look to consolidate top spot as they open this midweek round of Scottish Premiership fixtures at St Mirren on Tuesday, before the remaining 10 sides take part in a bumper schedule on Wednesday.
We have picked out a score prediction for each encounter.
St Mirren vs Hearts (Tuesday, 8pm)
Hearts got back to winning ways at Dundee United on Saturday and they look primed for a routine win at St Mirren, who are winless in eight games.
The Buddies have conceded exactly twice in four of these eight matches and three have ended 2-0, while the Jambos won the reverse fixture 2-0 and have scored exactly twice in five of their last nine league fixtures.
Score prediction: St Mirren 0-2 Hearts
Dundee FC vs Motherwell (Wednesday, 7.45pm)
Motherwell have the joint-best defensive record in the Scottish Premiership and they can use that to their advantage against a Dundee side that have netted just 19 times in 24 league games.
The Steelmen have won five of their last six matches and have kept a clean sheet in each of these victories.
Motherwell beat Dundee 1-0 at Fir Park in December and the Dee lost 1-0 to Hearts in their last home assignment.
Score prediction: Dundee FC 0-1 Motherwell
Hibernian vs Dundee United (Wednesday, 7.45pm)
Hibernian held Rangers to a goalless draw on Sunday and they could keep another clean sheet against a Dundee United side that have lost to nil in their last three Scottish Premiership games.
This includes a 1-0 defeat to arch-rivals Dundee, while Hibs have averaged 1.4 goals per game across their last five in the league.
Score prediction: Hibernian 1-0 Dundee United
Livingston vs Falkirk (Wednesday, 7.45pm)
Livingston have won just one of their 24 Scottish Premiership games this season, but they have avoided defeat in five of their 12 at home and could do so again when Falkirk visit Almondvale Stadium.
November’s reverse fixture ended 1-1 and Livingston have played out three 1-1 stalemates in their last four at home, while the visiting Bairns have only won one of their last four away contests.
Score prediction: Livingston 1-1 Falkirk
Rangers vs Kilmarnock (Wednesday, 7.45pm)
Rangers were held to a draw at Hibernian on Sunday, but they should have more luck against a second-bottom Kilmarnock side that have taken just two points from their last nine on the road.
Killie have conceded three or more goals in four of these games, including a 3-1 loss at Ibrox, while Wednesday’s hosts have won their last four home games without conceding.
Score prediction: Rangers 3-0 Kilmarnock
Aberdeen vs Celtic (Wednesday, 8pm)
Celtic have drawn their last two away games, but a trip to the Pittodrie Stadium is a step down from their meetings with Hearts and Bologna and they can return to winning ways against Aberdeen.
The Dons lost 2-0 at home to Rangers in January and the Bhoys, who have won two of their last four trips without conceding, can match that scoreline on Wednesday.
Score prediction: Aberdeen 0-2 Celtic
