Celtic’s Scottish Premiership clash with Hibernian next month has been postponed following the Easter Road side’s progression to the Premier Sports Cup final.
Martin O’Neill’s side were originally scheduled to host Hibs at Celtic Park on Sunday, December 13, but the fixture has now been rearranged after the Edinburgh outfit booked their place at Hampden.
Hibs secured their spot in the final after overcoming city rivals Hearts in Sunday’s semi-final and will now face Rangers for the first piece of domestic silverware of the season.
As a result, Celtic’s home encounter with Hibernian has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 13, with kick-off confirmed for 7.45pm.
Rangers’ Premiership trip to St Johnstone, also originally scheduled for December 13, has been moved to the same evening.
