The 2026/27 Premiership campaign continues at pace and fans have another full slate of fixtures from South Africa’s top division to look forward to this weekend, including the Soweto Derby between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.
Here, we’re focusing on the set of seven matches that have been pencilled in for Saturday, 31 October, and below, we’ve assembled free betting tips and PSL predictions for the day’s action, with key stats and the latest PSL standings included.

PSL tips & predictions for October 31, 2026
Milford FC vs Sekhukhune United (Saturday, 15:30 SAST)
A late Siphosethu Ndlabi strike helped Milford to a 1-0 triumph at Golden Arrows last time out and moved them up to fourth place in the PSL standings. They’re now unbeaten in four assignments, while they’ve also claimed ten from a possible 12 points at home this term.
Sekhukhune meanwhile, have enjoyed a real bounce under new head coach Papi Zothwane. Their Carling Cup win over Richards Bay on Sunday was their third victory in a row, and they scored at least twice in each of those wins. With momentum building, Sekhukhune can match Milford at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.

Orlando Pirates vs Kaizer Chiefs (Saturday, 15:30 SAST)
Defending champions Orlando Pirates have hardly put a foot wrong this season and alongside winning seven of their first eight PSL fixtures of the new campaign, they’ve earned qualification to the Group Stage of the African Champions League.
At home, they’ve won four fixtures out of four, and the Buccaneers look well-equipped to maintain their upward surge against rivals Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby. The visitor’s manager Fernando Da Cruz is feeling the squeeze following a run of just one win in eight attempts in all competitions, so expect the Glamour Boys to wilt again here.

AmaZulu vs Golden Arrows (Saturday, 18:00 SAST)
AmaZulu are favourites to beat rivals Golden Arrows in the Durban Derby on Saturday and for good reason. Arthur Zwane’s in-form outfit has won four PSL matches in succession, conceding just two goals in total along the way, and they kept a third clean sheet in five domestic matches when they knocked Kruger United (1-0) out of the cup last Sunday.
In contrast, Golden Arrows have earned just one win from eight games in the PSL and took the decision to sack summer hire Pitso Dladla after that uninspiring start to the season. They were much improved last weekend in their 4-0 cup thumping of Chippa Utd, however, they haven’t won any of their last four meetings with AmaZulu.

Polokwane City vs TS Galaxy (Saturday, 18:00 SAST)
Two out-of-sorts teams clash at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium when Polokwane host TS Galaxy on Saturday afternoon, and with both sides short on goals, a low-scoring tussle could be in the works. The hosts are winless in nine games in league and cup, and to score in five of the same matches.
TS Galaxy meanwhile, were beaten to nil in each of their last three league games and failed to score completely in each of their last four outings in the PSL overall. In addition, two of the last three meetings between Polokwane City and TS Galaxy ended scoreless. With inspiration in short supply in both camps, look to the unders markets for this one.

Stellenbosch FC vs Chippa United (Saturday, 18:00 SAST)
Stellenbosch have been tough to beat in recent weeks and they showcased their doggedness again in their last PSL fixture, earning an against-the-odds draw with Kaizer Chiefs (1-1). The Stellies are unbeaten in five matches now and have lost only once in seven league games overall since early August.
At Chippa, speculation about head coach Brandon Tuter’s future continues to swirl and he faced more criticism following the 4-0 cup loss at Golden Arrows last weekend. To their credit, Chippa still haven’t lost on the road in the Premiership this term and they could dig in for another share of the spoils here.

Kruger United vs Richards Bay (Saturday, 20:15 SAST)
Kruger’s cup dreams were ended by AmaZulu (0-1) last weekend, and their result there was in keeping with what’s been a largely frustrating domestic campaign for the Village Boys so far. Kruger are still in the bottom five in the Premiership, however, they have enjoyed a small upturn of late, winning two of their last three games in the division.
The hosts have a chance to prolong their spike in form when they host winless Richards Bay on Saturday evening. The visitors were beaten in five of their first eight matches of the new PSL season, shipping a league-high 20 goals in the process. With their leakiness a factor, their last five league fixtures averaged 4.60 goals, and another high scoring tussle looks possible this weekend.

Mamelodi Sundowns vs Durban City (Saturday, 20:15 SAST)
The division’s early pace setters, Mamelodi Sundowns, suffered continental heartache when they were beaten by Angola’s Wiliete in the CAF Champions League qualifiers last week. That does free them up to pursue domestic silverware with extra vigour however, and an instant response is expected from Miguel Cardoso’s players on Saturday.
Durban City have won only once in the PSL since the summer, while four of their last five meetings with the Sundowns have ended in defeat. City have also been averaging just 0.625 goals per 90 minutes in the league so far and this weekend they travel to take on the division’s most prolific attack. Back the hosts to outgun their visitors at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.
