Video: Arsenal keep up the chase on City, surviving the Nottingham Forest trap thanks to a Madueke thunderbolt

A hard-fought victory

Arsenal ground out a late winner at Nottingham Forest on Sunday, edging the seventh-round Premier League meeting by a single goal.

Goalless until the 80th minute, the game turned when substitute Noni Madueke cut in from the left, drove into the box and lashed a rocket into the net.

That result lifts Arsenal to 18 points and second place, three behind Manchester City on 21. Forest stay on five, down in 18th.
