Sunderland boss Régis Le Bris has confirmed Wilson Isidor is expected to be available for Saturday’s trip to Coventry City after returning to training this week.

The striker is set to play some part at the CBS Arena, providing Le Bris with a timely boost ahead of the weekend.

“Wilson should be available,” Le Bris said.

“At the minute we accepted Ballard and Mundle are out, all our players are more or less available.

“We have to manage minor injuries, so it’s a question of three days, four days, depending on the players. But they’re in good place.”

Nordi Mukiele remains a doubt, howveer, after picking up a minor knock and will be assessed before the game.

“We’ll see, because he got this knock,” Le Bris said.

“It’s a minor and short-term injury, but we’ll see for Saturday.”
