Arsenal have been handed a major injury boost with William Saliba back in first-team training ahead of their Champions League clash with Slavia Prague.
The defender took part in team training on Tuesday as Mikel Arteta’s side prepared for Wednesday’s trip to Prague.
Saliba has been sidelined with a back injury since the World Cup and has yet to play this season.
His return to training raises hopes that the France international is closing in on a return to action, although it remains to be seen whether he will be involved against Slavia Prague.
Arsenal head into the Champions League fixture on the back of Sunday’s 1-0 Premier League victory over Liverpool at Anfield.
