Devyne Rensch is set to spend the next few weeks in the treatment room after suffering an injury during the first half of Roma’s Champions League defeat against Manchester United earlier this week according to the latest updates.

Rensch ruled out for three weeks after Manchester United injury

Rensch pulled up and needed to be replaced by Emanuele Lulli after just 20 minutes of Roma’s eventual 3-2 defeat away against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening.

It has since been confirmed by various sources in Italy, including Gianluca Di Marzio, that the Dutchman has suffered a first-degree strain of the adductor longus in his right leg, which is likely to keep him out of action for around three weeks.

The fortunate news is that Roma only have one game remaining, at home against Sassuolo in Serie A on Saturday evening, before a large chunk of their squad jets off for the November international break.

Rensch’s injury may still keep him out of action for Roma’s first games immediately after the international break: Away against Parma in Serie A on November 21 and potentially away against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on November 25 as well.
