Premier League 2026/27 next manager to leave odds: Roberto De Zerbi's, Michael Carrick's and Frank Lampard's odds assessed

With the Premier League returning after the extended international break, some managers will be back under the microscope after underwhelming starts to the season.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have been two of the big underperformers in the opening weeks of the season, with Michael Carrick and Roberto De Zerbi both coming under scrutiny.
Alvaro Arbeloa and Pierre Sage are also finding life tough, with one win in the dugout between them so far, while Chelsea legend Frank Lampard will be hoping to turn a corner after claiming Coventry City's first victory of the season last time out.
Without further ado, let's delve into the Livescore next manager to leave odds.
Roberto De Zerbi
The Spurs boss is at the top of our list after a dire start to the season, leaving the north Londoners propping up the table after five games.
It is an alarming run of form that has been made even more concerning after an expensive summer of spending, which saw more than £300 million splashed out on new signings.
Sandro Tonali (£100m), Mateus Fernandes (£85m) and Savio (£75m) were all brought in for huge fees, but the squad overhaul has yet to reap the desired rewards.
Guglielmo Vicario, Djed Spence, Cristian Romero, and Kevin Danso all departed for pastures new, and the jury is still out on a new-look Spurs side whose firepower on paper hasn’t been transmitted onto the pitch.
Only Coventry have scored fewer than Tottenham's two goals this season, with both coming in a 3-2 defeat to Aston Villa last time out.
Spurs chief executive Vinai Venkatesham has since given De Zerbi the dreaded vote of confidence, so determining on how you interpret that, better value could be found elsewhere.

Michael Carrick
The Manchester United job has often felt like a poisoned chalice since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013.
A host of big names have tried and failed to take the Red Devils back to their glory days, and Carrick’s honeymoon period in charge of the club appears to be over.
After initially taking over as interim boss midway through the season and leading his side to a scarcely believable third-place finish, the weaknesses in Carrick’s squad have been exposed here.
Five points from as many games is not a disastrous start by any means, but still leaves United 10 points adrift of league leaders Manchester City after only five games.
Even the most optimistic of fans wouldn’t have expected a title push in this campaign, but continuing in this vein of form would leave a top-four push in doubt.
Carrick certainly has plenty of options going forward with the integral Bruno Fernandes to call upon, along with the likes of Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
However, their inability to freshen up a porous defence, and injuries to the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo, mean these next few weeks could be pivotal.

Alvaro Arbeloa
The former Real Madrid boss was an eye-catching replacement for Marco Silva at Fulham, and the move has yet to reap dividends in west London.
There was plenty of excitement when Los Blancos starlets Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios followed Arbeloa's path to Craven Cottage, but reality is now starting to bite.
Arbeloa's gung-ho style of play has only led to two points from five games, with only goal difference keeping them above Spurs in 19th.
Their defensive frailties were clear for all to see in the home day defeats to Chelsea and Crystal Palace, while Arbeloa questioned his side's desire in a limp 1-0 defeat away at Sunderland.
There have been signs of a recovery though, with Liverpool and Manchester United both being held to draws in their last two games, and the Fulham fanbase is still yet to be convinced by Arbeloa's credentials to improve upon the foundations laid by Silva.
At these odds, this could be among the best-value punts in this list.

Pierre Sage
It was always going to be a tall order for Pierre Sage to take over from arguably the greatest manager in Crystal Palace’s history.
After Oliver Glasner led the Eagles to unforgettable triumphs in the FA Cup and UEFA Conference League, Sage has been tasked with continuing that momentum after an impressive stint in charge of French overachievers, Lens.
Defeats to Everton and Manchester City in their opening two games wasn't an ideal start, but the alarm bells would have rung louder when newly-promoted Ipswich Town left Selhurst Park with a 3-2 victory.
The 3-2 win away at Fulham remains their only success so far, but patchy league form is nothing new for a Palace side that prioritised European glory last season.
And after a convincing 4-0 win over Lech Poznan in their Europa League opener, that could be the case again in this campaign.
Sage's next assignment is a meeting with Glasner's Forest side on Sunday, and losing that match with the well-publicised bad blood between the two clubs could be something which Sage struggles to recover from.

Frank Lampard
The legendary former Chelsea and England midfielder represents a huge outside punt to be the next manager to leave, having returned Coventry City to the top flight after a 25-year absence.
It has been a tough start to the season for the Sky Blues, but a hard-fought 1-0 win away at Forest was their first three-point haul of the campaign.
Taking a 5-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion aside - when Lampard's side played most of the second half with 10 men – their games have been mostly keenly contested affairs.
Performances like the victory over Forest will be key to their chances of survival, and it seems unlikely that Lampard will lose his job any time soon.
But if you think the tide will quickly turn against Lampard, then this price might be worth a flutter.

The other contenders
Aston Villa boss Unai Emery is a surprise inclusion in this list after leading the Villans to Europa League glory last season following a tricky start to the season. He's also listed at 8/1.
If you fancy pushing your luck even further, the top 10 is completed by Gary O'Neil (11/1), Oliver Glasner (12/1), Marco Rose (20/1) and Matthias Jaissle (20/1).
