Villa won 3-1 at Coventry 24 hours later to make the quarters
Recommended bet: Aston Villa to Win @ 9/4 with LiveScore Bet
The pressure is on Premier League clubs Tottenham and Villa as they prepare to meet in North London on Saturday.
Both these big-hitters go into battle rooted in the bottom four with just a combined three points and one goal to show for their efforts.

Team news
Pedro Porro is the latest Spurs star to recover from injury giving Roberto de Zerbi a near-full squad to pick from.
Sandro Tonali could also be available after missing the Liverpool defeat, leaving only Dejan Kulusevski on the sidelines.
Villa are missing defenders Pau Torres and Ian Maatsen, injured in last week's 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest, and Matty Cash is a doubt. Joao Gomes is available after a three-match ban but is also a fitness question mark.
Exciting Swiss World Cup star Johan Manzambi is in line for his first start for Villa.

The stats
Spurs have lost seven of their last 10 showdowns with Villa across all competitions, and have lost five of their last seven at home, four of those by 2-1 scorelines.
Villa have had the fewest shots (33) and shots on target (6) in the top division. In fairness, five of those six SOTs came in last weekend's 2-1 loss to Forest, and they subsequently had nine in Wednesday's 3-1 Carabao Cup win at Coventry.
No current member of either side has had more than one shot on target over the first four matches.
Tottenham's games are averaging a league-high 12.3 corners a time; Villa's matches are averaging a league-low 6.8 corners.

Prediction
Aston Villa found their shooting boots on Wednesday night and that could stand them in good stead for the trip to Tottenham.
Unai Emery's men, who had just one shot on target in their opening three league games, managed nine from a total of 18 efforts in their 3-1 win at Coventry in the Carabao Cup.
It was not the Premier League and Coventry are poor, but it should have done wonders for morale as they head to Spurs.
Tottenham, on the other hand, were left licking their wounds as they had slid to a 3-1 loss at Liverpool 24 hours earlier in the same competition.
They started well but could not score and had decent moments in a second half in which Conor Gallagher found the net. They still, though, have yet to score in the Premier League.
The atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be testy and Villa know that.
They have a good record there — five wins in the last seven — and if they can silence the home faithful then they can chalk up a third successive road win following successes at Brugge in the Champions League and Coventry in the Carabao Cup.
They certainly look a decent price at 9/4 with LiveScore Bet.
