Liverpool are eighth in the table, eight points behind leaders Arsenal
Forest are down in 19th with just nine points from 11 games
Recommended bet: Liverpool to win to nil
Liverpool's Premier League title defence has not gone to plan this season, but Arne Slot's side have a very winnable Anfield clash against struggling Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The Reds were poor when humbled by rivals Manchester City 3-0 at the Etihad before the international break, but a visit from second-bottom Forest should see them return to winning ways at the first time of asking.

Team news
Liverpool first-choice goalkeeper Alisson is in line to return after recovering from a hamstring injury, with the Brazil international set to replace Giorgi Mamardashvili.
Jeremie Frimpong is closing in on a return, too, but he is more likely to be back in action next weekend against West Ham.
Alexander Isak is continuing to build up his match fitness, but the Swedish striker may have to settle for a bench role again.
Forest's lengthy injury list has not eased much over the international break with Douglas Luiz, Chris Wood, Ola Aina and Callum Hudson-Odoi all still sidelined.
Omari Hutchinson could return, though, and is among the players who may come in for the visitors if Sean Dyche opts to make changes.
The stats
Liverpool have won seven of their nine home games in all competitions this season and have kept clean sheets when beating Arsenal and Aston Villa at Anfield this term.
Forest are yet to win on the road in the league in 2025-26, drawing twice and losing the other three games.
Slot's side suffered their only home league defeat last season to Forest, going down 1-0 last September.
That win for Forest at Anfield was their first there since a League Cup success back in 1978.

Prediction
Liverpool can ill-afford many more setbacks if they are to seriously be in contention for the title this season and, after losing five of their 11 games already – one more than the whole of last term – a visit from Forest, who memorably won at Anfield last September, represents another tricky test.
However, Slot's side should be good enough to secure all three points and they look capable of registering just a fourth clean sheet in the league to boot.
Forest have struggled so far – a fact laid bare by the frequency in which the man in the dugout has changed this season – but at least now in Dyche they do have someone in charge seemingly well equipped to steer them clear of relegation danger.
This remains one of the toughest away days in the top-flight, though, and even if Forest are likely to be competitive on Merseyside, the hosts should eventually come out on top.
