Everton and Nottingham Forest are heading towards the festive season full of good cheer as they prepare to meet at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The Toffees have won three of their last four to jump to mid-division while Forest have come to life after ex-Everton chief Sean Dyche took the reins, losing only two of nine matches.
Team news
Everton boss David Moyes has a midfield headache to solve with Tim Iroegbunam and Idrissa Gueye suspended and Merlin Rohl injured.
Promoting Nathan Patterson to right-back could enable Moyes to partner James Garner with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Tyler Dibling is hoping for just a second start while Beto could displace Thierno Barry. Michael Keane is a doubt.
Forest are still missing Ola Aina, Douglas Luiz, Chris Wood and Taiwo Awoniyi but Murillo and Morgan Gibbs-White are in contention.

The stats
Everton have won three of their last four games, culminating in Tuesday's 1-0 success at Bournemouth.
Forest have scored only six first-half goals — only Sunderland have mustered less.
Nine of the last 10 top-flight Everton-Forest fixtures, at any venue, have produced two goals or less.
Forest have lost only two of nine games under Dyche and not conceded a single goal on each of their last three away days.
Prediction
Moyes and Dyche will never be the most fashionable managers but the uncompromising duo are clearly doing something right.
Moyes has got a tune out of the Toffees, who have won three of their last four to go to mid-table.
And Dyche prepares to go back to his previous employer having overseen a nine-point haul from the last three games to get Forest out of the bottom three.
To be fair, Forest have never looked like relegation candidates — they were not last year and paid the price earlier this season for a disrupting stand-off between owner and manager.
Dyche has steadied the ship as he knows best and he will do at Everton what he usually tries to do, which is see his side soak up pressure, play the ball long and direct and encourage as many crosses and set-pieces into the box as possible.
It is a recipe for what could be a largely unmemorable affair but Dyche will not mind that.
There really does not appear to be an awful lot between these two with one goal likely to be enough. In that case, Forest at the prices get the nod.
