  • Everton have kept the most Premier League clean sheets (7) since the start of November

  • Leeds have scored just one goal across their last six away trips to Everton

  • Recommended bet: Under 1.5 goals

Everton and Leeds will round off the Premier League weekend when they clash at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday night.

The Toffees are fresh from last week's surprise 1-0 win at title-chasing Aston Villa — their first victory of 2026 — but question marks remain regarding their home form.

Leeds also edged to victory last time out, with Lukas Nmecha's late goal enough to see off Fulham and extend an impressive run of form that has seen them lose only one of their last 10 matches across all competitions.

Team news

Everton have been dealt a major injury blow this week following the news that Jack Grealish faces an extended period on the sidelines after suffering a stress fracture in his foot.

There is better news regarding Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Jarrad Branthwaite and Carlos Alcaraz, who are all back in training following recent lay-offs, while Idrissa Gueye and Iliman Ndiaye could also be involved despite only just returning from their victorious Africa Cup of Nations campaign with Senegal.

Leeds remain without hamstring victims Jaka Bijol and Daniel James, although the latter is closing in on a return, while Gabriel Gudmundsson is a doubt due to an adductor issue.

Anton Stach is expected to return from a similar issue and Nmecha will be hoping his match-winning heroics from the bench against Fulham will be enough to earn him a start, perhaps alongside former Everton hero Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The stats

Everton have picked up more points on their travels (17) than they have on home soil (15) this season.

David Moyes' side have earned just one point from their last three Premier League home fixtures and have also been dumped out of the FA Cup by Sunderland at Hill Dickinson Stadium over the same period.

Leeds have only lost once in 10 matches although that defeat did come in their last top-flight away fixture at Newcastle.

Daniel Farke's side were winners at Derby in the FA Cup earlier this month, but their only Premier League away success of the season came at bottom-club Wolves in September.

The Whites have never completed a league double over Everton in the Premier League era, a record they could put straight on Monday after their 1-0 success when the teams met at Elland Road on the opening weekend of the season.

Prediction

Everton have done most of their good work away from Hill Dickinson Stadium this season and they may struggle to create against Leeds in the absence of Grealish and with doubts surrounding fellow forward-thinking players Dewsbury-Hall, Alcaraz and Ndiaye.

The Toffees have not exactly been free-flowing at the best of times, with seven of their last eight matches going under the 2.5 goal mark.

It is a similar story for Leeds, with four of their last five Premier League games featuring a maximum of two goals, while both of these sides were 1-0 victors last weekend.

It also finished 1-0 — in favour of Leeds — when the sides met on the opening weekend of the season and this has all the makings of being another match that will feature just one decisive moment.
