Eli Junior Kroupi burst onto the scene for Bournemouth last season – and his scintillating performances have drawn plenty of attention.

The 20-year-old winger agreed a £12 million move to the Vitality Stadium in February 2025, before being loaned back to former club Lorient for the remainder of the campaign.

That proved to be a wise decision from the Cherries, as a Premier League-ready Kroupi made a flying start to life on the South Coast in 2025/26.

Thirteen goals in 33 top-flight games helped fire Bournemouth to sixth place and Europa League qualification for the first time under former boss Andoni Iraola.

Unsurprisingly, the interest of Europe’s elite clubs has been piqued by the France Under-21 international’s sublime showings, but where will he be playing his football next season?

We’ve taken a look at the LiveScore Bet transfer special odds to find out who is in the running for Kroupi’s services.

Bournemouth – 3/10

Bournemouth will be desperate to keep hold of a prodigious talent like Kroupi, with that determination reflected in LiveScore Bet’s short odds of 3/10 at the time of writing.

The Lorient native is under contract until June 2030, so the Cherries have done well to protect the value of their asset – and alleviate any immediate pressure to sell.

Of course, Kroupi will be keen to test himself at the highest possible level like any footballer, but Bournemouth are at least in a position to offer him continental football in 2026/27.

He may well be keen to showcase his talents in Europe next season, with the aim of securing an even bigger move the following summer.

Working with incoming manager Marco Rose could hold some appeal, too, considering his experience improving players at Red Bull Salzburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.

It feels highly likely that Kroupi will leave the Vitality Stadium at some point in the coming years, but it might not be this summer if he is willing to bide his time.

Barcelona – 5/2

Some clubs are particularly hard to turn down if they come calling – and Barcelona definitely fall into that category.

Playing in Barça’s blue and garnet stripes is a dream for many players, such is the team’s iconic status and decorated history.

Whether that is the case for Kroupi remains to be seen, but the Blaugrana have been strongly linked with Bournemouth’s No.22.

There are two potential sticking points, though. Firstly, it appears that Atlético Madrid’s Julián Alvarez is their primary target, with Kroupi representing a secondary option if that deal can’t be completed.

Then there is the Cherries’ rumoured asking price of £110 million, which would be a significant outlay for a player unproven over a long period.

However, with Marcus Rashford’s loan at Camp Nou expiring at the end of last season, Kroupi has the potential to be a ready-made replacement on the left flank if a deal can be done.

Paris Saint-Germain – 6/1

Paris Saint-Germain will be fully aware of Kroupi’s ability from his time in France’s top two tiers with Lorient.

The 5ft 10in forward enjoyed a breakout season with Les Merlus in 2023/24, chipping in with five goals and three assists across 30 Ligue 1 appearances – though only 11 of those were starts.

But it was in Ligue 2 following Lorient’s relegation that the versatile attacker really caught fire, registering a remarkable 22 strikes in 30 league games en route to the title.

Kroupi’s form at Bournemouth will only have boosted his stock even further, with a return to his home nation surely an appealing prospect.

PSG are believed to be monitoring the Frenchman’s availability and certainly have the funds to finance a move if they decide to launch a bid.

Tottenham Hotspur – 13/2

Tottenham Hotspur haven’t been afraid to splash the cash this summer  – and they might not be done yet.

The North Londoners are overhauling their squad following back-to-back seasons of struggle in the Premier League, placing 17th on both occasions.

With Roberto De Zerbi in the dugout, Spurs have already signed Sandro Tonali (Newcastle United), Mateus Fernandes (West Ham United), Jan Paul van Hecke (Brighton), Marcos Senesi (Bournemouth), Andrew Robertson (Liverpool) and Martin Dúbravka (Burnley) for a total outlay of £237 million.

They are still yet to improve their attacking options, though, having significantly strengthened their rearguard and central midfield.

That is likely to be a priority in the final weeks of the transfer window, with top scorer Richarlison registering just 11 league strikes in 2025/26 and the whole team’s tally standing at only 48 goals.

Spurs are reportedly interested in making Kroupi the solution to their goalscoring woes, along with Manchester City wide man Savinho.

The question is whether they have enough money left in the bank to meet Bournemouth’s asking price, such is the extent of their outlay in recent months.
