Team news
Palace’s Axel Disasi is suspended following his red card in the 3-2 defeat to Ipswich. Takehiro Tomiyasu and Anan Khalaili face late tests for the Eagles but Chadi Riad, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Dean Henderson are all out.
Nikola Milenkovic and Nicolo Savona are set to miss out for the Tricky Trees.
Need to know
Oliver Glasner will be the centre of attention at Selhurst Park when he returns with his new club Nottingham Forest, who will hope to be the third visiting team to win there this season after Manchester City and promoted Ipswich.
Forest suffered their own disappointment against one of the new boys when they fell to a home defeat to Coventry in their final game before the international break, but they have been decent on the road, winning at Aston Villa as well as claiming a 2-2 draw at Liverpool.
Prediction
Both Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest have made patchy starts to the Premier League campaign, but it is the Midlanders who look more likely to kick their season into gear with a win at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
Manager Oliver Glasner would love to get one over his former club and there looks a strong chance of that happening after Forest’s strong away showings at Villa Park and Anfield.
Palace beat Lech Poznan in their opening Europa League game, but defeats in their first two home league games are a concern.
As five of the last seven meetings have finished 1-1, it is best to support Forest on the double chance, but have faith in Liam Delap finding the net for the Tricky Trees.
He scored his first goal for the club in the win at Villa following his move from Chelsea and had 10 shots in his two appearances before the break, so he knows where the goal is.
Do not expect there to be many corners though. Palace have forced just 12 in their five games and Forest have had a total of six in their two away matches, so it would be a surprise if the flag-kick tally reached double figures.
