Liam Rosenior takes charge of Chelsea for the first time in the Premier League
Brentford are fifth in the table, three places and two points ahead of the Blues
Recommended bet: Chelsea to win
New Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior has had a mixed start to life in the Stamford Bridge hotseat, as the Blues outclassed Charlton in the FA Cup last weekend but were then narrowly beaten by Arsenal in their Carabao Cup semi-final first leg in midweek.
In-form Brentford are likely to pose them problems on Saturday in a game which should give Rosenior more of an idea of what sort of team he has inherited from Enzo Maresca.
Brentford have stormed up the table to fifth, two points ahead of Chelsea, after an outstanding run of four wins in their last five top-flight games.
Team news
Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo was suspended for the midweek EFL Cup clash with Arsenal but should return to the side on Saturday.
Cole Palmer and Reece James also sat out the Gunners game but are expected to be back in the squad, while Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens should be available following illness.
Romeo Lavia and Levi Colwill, however, are out long term.
Jordan Henderson picked up a knock against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup last weekend and is a doubt for the visitors.
Dango Ouattara is set to return to the squad after returning from AFCON duty with Burkina Faso, but Antoni Milambo, Josh Dasilva and Fabio Carvalho are still absent.
The stats
Chelsea have failed to win any of their last five league games (L3, D2).
Brentford have won five of their last six matches in all competitions, drawing the other.
Chelsea have only won one of the last eight meetings between the sides, Brentford have triumphed in three and there have been four draws.
Rosenior begins life as a Premier League boss after a year-and-a-half in charge of French side Strasbourg, where he had a 49% winning record.
Since stepping up to succeed Thomas Frank as Bees manager in the summer, Keith Andrews has exactly a 50% win ratio, coming out on top in 13 of his 26 matches in charge.

Prediction
Chelsea have taken a risk with the appointment of the relatively inexperienced Rosenior, but he may well be able to get off to a winning start in the league after overseeing a convincing 5-1 win in the FA Cup at Charlton before the midweek loss to Arsenal in the EFL Cup.
Chelsea have been inconsistent of late but the hope is that the new man in charge can get the best out of a large and hugely-talented squad that should be fighting for at least a top-four finish this season.
They currently sit down in eighth but are only four points behind fourth-placed Liverpool so they remain in the scrap for the Champions League places and are more than capable of a strong second half to the campaign.
A win over the Bees would be a very welcome first home success for Rosenior and the Blues are tipped to do it, if only just.
Brentford have been hugely impressive in recent weeks when beating Sunderland, Everton, Bournemouth and Wolves, but this represents a stiffer test than those games, and the feeling is that they could just get edged out by a fired-up home side.
