Seagulls seeking their first win in five league games
Struggling Palace anxious to end their recent slump
Recommended bet: Draw
There will be no lack of passion at the Amex Stadium on Sunday as M23 rivals Brighton and Crystal Palace both look to get back to winning ways.
Visitors Palace perhaps have more to prove as they look to end a run of nine league defeats, while the Seagulls have been frustrated in recent matches, drawing three of their last four.
Team news
Diego Gomez is set to return for the Seagulls but Yasin Ayari, Mats Wieffer and long-term absentees Solly March, Adam Webster and Stefanos Tzimas are all out.
Jorgen Strand Larsen could feature for Palace following his deadline-day arrival from Wolves and it will be interesting to see if Jean-Philippe Mateta will be involved, after his proposed move to AC Milan fell through on the final day.
Borna Sosa and Daichi Kamada could be involved and Adam Wharton looks set to return in midfield after serving a one-match ban, but Caleb Kporha, Rio Cardines, Eddie Nketiah, Justin Devenny and Cheick Doucoure are all out.

Prediction
Palace started the weekend nine points above the Premier League drop zone and should have few concerns about relegation, but there is little doubt that a win over arch-rivals Brighton on Sunday would be a massive boost for morale at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles head south down the M23 having failed to win any of their last nine league games and seeing their FA Cup defence fall at the first hurdle against non-league Macclesfield, so they could do with a lift, which manager Oliver Glasner will hope can be provided by recent signings Brennan Johnson and Jorgen Strand Larsen.
So the stage would seem set for a dominant Brighton performance, but Fabian Hurzeler’s side have had a few problems getting over the line in recent weeks, drawing three of their last four games.
They will have been disappointed not to have secured a victory over Everton last week when they were hit by the Merseysiders’ injury-time equaliser, but this is a fixture where it is common that there is little to separate the teams, so it would not be a surprise if honours again finished even on the south coast.
