  • Arsenal are nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table

  • Second-placed Manchester City have a game in hand on the Gunners

  • West Ham are 18th in the standings, one point from safety

The Premier League season is at the business stage and there are plenty of important fixtures taking place, starting with Friday's clash between West Ham and Wolves.

Table-toppers Arsenal are in early action on Saturday when facing Bournemouth at the Emirates – one of four matches on the day while Manchester City's trip to Chelsea rounds off Sunday's quartet matches.

On Monday, Manchester United will look to cement their place in the top four when welcoming Leeds to Old Trafford.

West Ham vs Wolves (Friday, 8pm)

Wolves' relegation is getting closer each week, as they are 13 points from safety with just 21 remaining and they could be in for a difficult night when travelling to fellow strugglers West Ham.

The Hammers, who are a point from safety, are unbeaten at home in their last seven matches in normal time and they can pick up the win against a visiting side who have not won on their travels in the league.

Score prediction: West Ham 3-1 Wolves

Arsenal vs Bournemouth (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Sitting nine points clear at the Premier League summit, Arsenal have stumbled a little of late, losing in the Carabao Cup final and the FA Cup quarter-finals, and they face a tough visit of Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Cherries are on a six-game unbeaten run away from home in the league and they could get a positive result for this trip to the Emirates, a stadium they won 2-1 at on their last visit in May 2025.

Score prediction: Arsenal 2-2 Bournemouth

Brentford vs Everton (Saturday, 3pm)

Everton boast the fourth-best away record in the division and they can pick up another three points to boost their top-five hopes when heading to Brentford, who have failed to win any of their last four fixtures at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Score prediction: Brentford 1-2 Everton

Burnley vs Brighton (Saturday, 3pm)

Burnley are without a win in six matches in all competitions and their hopes of avoiding relegation may receive another blow when hosting Brighton, who have won four of their last five matches and their last two away from home.

Score prediction: Burnley 1-3 Brighton

Liverpool vs Fulham (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Liverpool have lost their last three games in all competitions, most recently going down 2-0 at Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday and they may struggle to pick themselves against a Fulham side who are on a three-match unbeaten run on their travels.

Score prediction: Liverpool 1-2 Fulham

Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United (Sunday, 2pm)

Newcastle United have won four of their last six away games in all competitions and they can get the better of Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles have had less time to prepare having been in European action on Thursday and the fresher Magpies can swoop for the victory.

Score prediction: Crystal Palace 1-3 Newcastle United

Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa (Sunday, 2pm)

Nottingham Forest remain in a relegation scrap and they could boost their survival hopes with a home win over Aston Villa, who have not won at the City Ground since 2019 and last won on their travels in the league back in January.

Score prediction: Nottingham Forest 2-1 Aston Villa

Sunderland vs Tottenham (Sunday, 2pm)

Roberto De Zerbi takes charge of Tottenham for the first time when his side head to the Stadium of Light to take on Sunderland, who are in the mix for a European finish.

Spurs have failed to win away from home in the league in 2026 and they will struggle to change that statistic against the Black Cats, who have won two of their last three top-flight fixtures.

Score prediction: Sunderland 2-1 Tottenham

Chelsea vs Manchester City (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Chelsea are without a win in their last three home games in the league and they are in for a tough challenge when hosting Manchester City, who head into this contest having won the EFL Cup and progressed to the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Score prediction: Chelsea 1-4 Manchester City

Manchester United vs Leeds United (Monday, 8pm)

Leeds United have picked up just 10 points on their travels, only Wolves (5) and Burnley (9) have worse records and more away disappointment is in store when they head to Manchester United, who are eyeing a sixth home win in a row.

Score prediction: Manchester United 2-0 Leeds United
