Mikel Arteta will be seeking a statement win for Arsenal over Liverpool on Thursday
  • Arsenal are unbeaten in the last eight in the Premier League

  • Liverpool have not drawn any of their last 17 games

  • Man City's Erling Haaland has scored in 18 of 20 matches

Arsenal will hope to return to winning ways in a hotly-anticipated north London derby on Sunday, 24 hours after Newcastle try to put the brakes on goal machine Erling Haaland.

Here are our predictions for all 10 Premier League games this weekend.

Burnley vs Chelsea (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Burnley's two wins since the end of August have come against fellow strugglers Leeds and Wolves.

Chelsea have won seven of their last nine and are scoring plenty of goals, so they should eventually overpower Scott Parker's men.

Score prediction: Burnley 1-3 Chelsea

Bournemouth vs West Ham (Saturday, 3pm)

Bournemouth have lost their last two, but both were away games, West Ham have won their last two, but both at home.

There is no doubt Nuno Espirito Santo has breathed some resistance into the Hammers' ranks but the Cherries are the real deal under Andoni Iraola and can put them in their place.

Score prediction: Bournemouth 1-0 West Ham

Brighton vs Brentford (Saturday, 3pm)

Brighton are unbeaten at the Amex Stadium this season where Man City and Newcastle are included among their victims.

Brentford, though, have won four of their last five and are more than capable of surprising the Seagulls.

Score prediction: Brighton 2-3 Brentford

Fulham vs Sunderland (Saturday, 3pm)

Premier League fans are raving over Regis Le Bris and Sunderland, who go into this weekend in fourth spot after halting Arsenal's amazing march before the break.

Their away form is understandably less impressive and the only team to have beaten Marco Silva's men in seven fixtures at Craven Cottage this term are the Gunners.

Score prediction: Fulham 2-1 Sunderland

Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest (Saturday, 3pm)

Having beaten Real Madrid on their previous outing at Anfield, the stuttering Reds can make light work of Forest.

Sean Dyche's work ethic should ensure Forest are honest and a threat on the counter but these two sides are still a distance apart.

Score prediction: Liverpool 2-0 Nottingham Forest

Wolves vs Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3pm)

Wolves have lost five in a row, shipping 15 goals, and have summoned ex-Luton and Middlesbrough boss Rob Edwards to transform their fortunes.

First up, though, is a visit from an impressive Palace side who should have the Old Gold's number.

Score prediction: Wolves 0-2 Crystal Palace

Newcastle vs Man City (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Eddie Howe's team are going well in the Champions League but not in the Premier League and now have to try to put the brakes on the scoring machine that is Erling Haaland.

The City ace bagged four more for Norway over the international break and can be the difference maker in what should be a close affair.

Score prediction: Newcastle 1-2 Man City

Leeds vs Aston Villa (Sunday, 2pm)

Villa have scored only three goals in five away games, though eight wins in 10 in all competitions suggests they are solid enough.

They would expect to win this but Leeds are doing well at Elland Road and can take something from the game.

Score prediction: Leeds 1-1 Aston Villa

Arsenal vs Tottenham (Sunday, 4.30pm)

The formbook may well be jettisoned here with Spurs possessing more than enough tools to bloody the noses of the leaders.

This fixture at The Emirates has a history of producing goals and may well do so again.

Score prediction: Arsenal 3-3 Tottenham

Manchester Utd vs Everton (Monday, 8pm)

It is still unclear quite what to expect from Ruben Amorim's United on any given day, but what is certain is that this may not be an easy assignment.

Everton under ex-United chief David Moyes will take some breaking down and a third straight Red Devils' stalemate is fancied.

Score prediction: Manchester Utd 2-2 Everton.
