Another thrilling Premier League weekend is around the corner, kicking off on Friday when Leeds host Nottingham Forest.

There are seven games on a busy Saturday, including a 12.30 clash between Manchester United and Tottenham at Old Trafford, while the 5.30 kick-off sees Newcastle entertain Brentford.

Leeds vs Nottingham Forest (Friday, 8pm)

Leeds were humbled by leaders Arsenal last weekend but they can respond well by beating Nottingham Forest at home on Friday evening.

Sean Dyche's side are showing plenty of fight in the relegation scrap but their three-game unbeaten run in all competitions looks set to come to an end in Yorkshire.

Score prediction: Leeds 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Manchester United vs Tottenham (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Manchester United's form under Michael Carrick has been impressive with three wins from three so far for the interim boss.

They look set to be tested by one of his former teams, Spurs, who were very good when coming from 2-0 down at half-time at home last weekend to draw 2-2 with Man City, but the Red Devils' run looks set to continue.

Score prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Tottenham

Bournemouth vs Aston Villa (Saturday, 3pm)

Aston Villa's title bid faltered again last week when they failed to make the most of a man advantage at home to Brentford, Unai Emery's side losing 1-0 in what was a disappointing outcome.

A trip to Bournemouth represents another tricky test and the Villans may have to settle for a point against opponents who have won their last two top-flight games.

Score prediction: Bournemouth 2-2 Aston Villa

Arsenal vs Sunderland (Saturday, 3pm)

Arsenal have had a great week, beating Leeds 4-0 away and then booking their place in the Carabao Cup final after a 1-0 win at home to Chelsea.

The league leaders switch focus back to their title charge and they should secure a routine home win over a Black Cats side who have struggled away this season, winning just twice so far.

Score prediction: Arsenal 3-1 Sunderland

Burnley vs West Ham (Saturday, 3pm)

Burnley need wins and fast if they are to stand any chance of avoiding relegation. They will have earmarked this game as a chance to pick up a result but the Hammers have been much improved of late, beating Tottenham and Sunderland, while they should have got something against Chelsea but threw away a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2.

This has the makings of a tight clash that could easily end all square.

Score prediction: Burnley 1-1 West Ham

Fulham vs Everton (Saturday, 3pm)

Fulham's home form has been solid — it is three wins in their last four at Craven Cottage for Marco Silva's men — and Everton look set to be the latest team to come unstuck by the Thames this weekend.

The Toffees are on an impressive four-game unbeaten run away, but this is a big test.

Score prediction: Fulham 2-0 Everton

Wolves vs Chelsea (Saturday, 3pm)

Wolves were showing some sprit at the start of the year but successive defeats without scoring against Manchester City and Bournemouth has deepened the gloom at Molineux.

Chelsea have been bright under new boss Liam Rosenior and they can record a comfortable away win in the Black Country.

Score prediction: Wolves 0-3 Chelsea

Newcastle vs Brentford (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Newcastle's dismal away form continued in the past week with defeats at Liverpool in the league and then Man City in the League Cup semi-final, so they will be pleased to play at St James' Park again on Saturday evening.

However, Brentford have their eye on a top-six finish and have had a free week to prepare for this clash, compared to Newcastle being forced to make what turned out to be a draining trip to the Etihad.

The Bees could secure another eye-catching away win after triumphing superbly at Villa last time.

Score prediction: Newcastle 1-2 Brentford

Brighton vs Crystal Palace (Sunday, 2pm)

The Premier League's strangest derby is the pre-cursor to Liverpool versus City on Sunday and this lunchtime treat can serve up plenty of excitement.

The two bitter rivals might be separated by 46 miles geographically but this is always a keenly-contested affair.

The Seagulls are in better shape, approaching the game in 13th place and having lost just one of their last seven games, compared to the Eagles, who have now not won any of their last 12 matches.

Score prediction: Brighton 3-2 Crystal Palace

Liverpool vs Man City (Sunday, 4.30pm)

The game of the weekend sees Liverpool entertain City and this could also be a cracker.

The Reds play at Anfield for a third successive game and having beaten Qarabag 6-0 in Europe and Newcastle 4-1 in the league, City must be wary of Arne Slot's fired-up side.

Pep Guardiola's side inexplicably threw away a 2-0 half-time advantage to draw at Tottenham last weekend, before they eased past Newcastle in the League Cup in midweek.

Their frustrating inconsistency could strike again on Sunday and City have a dismal recent record at Anfield, with just one win there since 2003.

Score prediction Liverpool 3-1 Manchester City.
