  • Arsenal top the table by five points after their 1-1 draw at Chelsea

  • Wolves still searching for their first win of the league season

  • Aston Villa have won seven of their last eight Premier League matches

There are a series of mouthwatering ties in a packed midweek fixture schedule, with all 20 Premier League clubs in action over the course of the next few days.

Fulham vs Man City (Tuesday, 7.30pm)

Fulham have accumulated 13 points from their opening six home league matches, while runaway leaders Arsenal are the only visiting team to win at Craven Cottage.

Despite this, Fulham find themselves just above the relegation zone.

No Premier League team has scored more goals than Man City this term, with Pep Guardiola's men having already found the net on 27 occasions.

Score prediction: Fulham 1-3 Man City

Bournemouth vs Everton (Tuesday, 7.30pm)

Although Bournemouth have lost three of their last four Premier League fixtures, the Cherries are yet to be beaten on home soil this term.

Meanwhile, opponents Everton will still be reeling following their wretched performance against Newcastle on Saturday evening.

The Toffees enjoyed a positive start to the campaign, but are now marooned in the bottom half of the table.

Score prediction: Bournemouth 2-1 Everton

Newcastle Utd vs Tottenham (Tuesday, 8.15pm)

Both teams have scored in each of Newcastle's last six Premier League contests, as Eddie Howe struggles to consistently find a winning formula.

Spurs are currently in freefall following a miserable sequence of November results, but the North Londoners will undoubtedly draw some comfort from their superb recent away record.

Score prediction: Newcastle Utd 2-1 Tottenham

Brighton vs Aston Villa (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Only two points separate Brighton and Aston Villa, as fifth takes on fourth at the AMEX Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Seagulls have not tasted defeat since October's EFL Cup loss to Arsenal, while Villa are currently in buoyant spirits after winning 11 of their last 13 fixtures across all competitions.

Score prediction: Brighton 1-1 Aston Villa

Burnley vs Crystal Palace (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Having suffered their ninth league loss of the season over the weekend, Burnley seem destined to be relegated back to the Championship at the first time of asking.

The wheels have not quite fallen off for Oliver Glasner yet, but the Austrian tactician will undoubtedly be concerned about Crystal Palace's inconsistent run of results following their long unbeaten start to the campaign.

Score prediction: Burnley 0-1 Crystal Palace

Wolves vs. Nottm Forest (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

The arrival of former Middlesbrough boss Rob Edwards has not had the instant impact Wolves fans were looking for, as the West Midlanders continue to seek their first league victory of the season.

Meanwhile, it seems as if Nottm Forest are starting to gain some momentum under the stewardship of Sean Dyche, having won four of their eight matches following Ange Postecoglou's departure.

Score prediction: Wolves 2-2 Nottm Forest

Arsenal vs Brentford (Wednesday, 7.30pm)

Arsenal missed their opportunity to re-establish a seven-point lead at the summit of the Premier League table thanks to Sunday’s 1-1 draw with ten-man Chelsea, but the Gunners are unlikely to drop points for just the fifth time this season on Wednesday evening.

There has been a bit of a boom or bust culture surrounding Brentford at the moment, with the Bees winning five, losing four and drawing just one of their last 10 league fixtures.

Score prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Brentford

Leeds vs Chelsea (Wednesday, 8.15pm)

Having only beaten lowly Everton, West Ham, and Wolves so far, Leeds have struggled against the top teams this season.

Therefore, few will be expecting the West Yorkshiremen to overcome a star-studded Chelsea outfit this midweek.

Ahead of Sunday's hard-fought draw with Mikel Arteta’s men, the Blues had kept three consecutive Premier League clean sheets.

Score prediction: Leeds 0-2 Chelsea

Liverpool vs Sunderland (Wednesday, 8.15pm)

Although the pressure on Arne Slot has far from subsided, Liverpool's comfortable triumph over West Ham provides the Dutchman with some welcome respite amidst the current crisis at Anfield.

Some Sunderland fans were perhaps starting to worry that their team's blistering start to the season was beginning to fade following three successive matches without a win, but confidence has been restored after the Black Cats came from 2-0 down to beat fellow high-flyers Bournemouth on Saturday.

Score prediction: Liverpool 2-2 Sunderland

Man Utd vs West Ham (Thursday, 8pm)

Having bounced back from an abject display against Everton with a first triumph at Selhurst Park in over five years, Man Utd will now once again be looking up the table rather than over their shoulder.

West Ham are navigating somewhat of a mini-revival following a treacherous few months, although they did lose to Liverpool at the London Stadium on Sunday after recording back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time since February.

Score prediction: Man Utd 1-1 West Ham
