Marcus Rashford Unlikely to Return to Man Utd Despite Ruben Amorim Exit as Barcelona Plan £26m Permanent Deal

Marcus Rashford is unlikely to return to Manchester United at the end of the season despite Ruben Amorim’s exit, reports talkSPORT.
Amorim was relieved of his United duties last week following their 1-1 draw at Leeds, as Darren Fletcher briefly took over the reins for the Manchester giants.
United were held to a draw at Burnley before crashing out of the FA Cup at the weekend under Fletcher, with Michael Carrick named head coach on Tuesday until the end of the season.
Amorim's departure a boost for United outcasts
Amorim’s exit may pave the way for a number of ostracised stars to work their way back into United’s first team plans.
Kobbie Mainoo and Joshua Zirkzee, who had been linked with January exits, are among those that could earn a reprieve under Carrick.
Rashford is another who may have been handed another chance to reignite his United career now that Amorim has been shown the Old Trafford exit.
Rashford struggled for minutes under Amorim
The England international was another who’d been marginalised under Amorim, so much so that he moved to Aston Villa on loan for the second half of last season before joining Barcelona over the summer.
Rashford has made an impressive start to life with the Blaugrana having provided six assists and scored two goals for the defending La Liga champions.
United’s decision to part ways with Amorim may have seen Rashford handed the chance to rebuild his bridges with the Premier League side.
Barcelona expected to make Rashford's move permanent
However, Barcelona are expected to make Rashford’s loan move permanent at the end of the season.
The Spanish giants have the option to sign Rashford permanently for around £26m in the summer, and Barcelona are expected to take up the chance to retain the 28-year-old’s services beyond the current campaign.
The on-loan forward featured off the bench in both Supercopa de Espana games this month as Barcelona beat Athletic Club and Real Madrid to successfully defend their Spanish Super Cup crown.
