Man United v Bournemouth LIVE: Under-pressure Michael Carrick faces major Bruno Fernandes call

Manchester United face a major Premier League test against Bournemouth with pressure mounting on Michael Carrick as the club’s latest crisis spirals out of control.

After a 4-1 Champions League thrashing at the hands of Como, speculation surrounds the future of Carrick after seven games without a win in all competitions.

After Bruno Fernandes’ outburst in Como, it remains uncertain if Carrick will retain the Portuguese as captain or even start the player in this must-win fixture.

The Cherries, meanwhile, are flying high after their Europa League win over AC Milan, but Marco Rose will be determined to improve his side’s standing in the league after just six points from as many games.
