Liverpool Target Fulham Star Antonee Robinson as Andy Robertson Replacement Amid Spurs Links

Liverpool are eyeing up a move for Fulham star Antonee Robinson as a replacement for Andy Robertson, according to TEAMtalk.
Robertson has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham this month, though the Scot played the second half of Saturday’s 3-2 loss at Bournemouth after replacing former Cherries man Milos Kerkez.
After the south coast defeat, Arne Slot spoke about he ‘needs’ to keep the left-back at Anfield, which comes as a blow to Spurs.
Robertson 'had to' come on at Bournemouth
“I think I need all my players,” Slot said following the loss. “Robbo had to come in at half-time, in my opinion.
“I always knew that for Milos (Kerkez), another 90 minutes against a very intense Bournemouth side was not a possibility for him, so I knew I would have to bring (Robertson) in.
“I had already had one substitution in the first-half, then you only have two moments left, so I thought ‘let’s bring Robbo in at half-time to make sure Milos stays available for the rest of the season’.
“There’s a lot of games to be played with the players available. I have to manage that as well. The last thing we could need right now is another injury.”
Liverpool have the option to recall Kostas Tsimikas from his loan at Roma should the Reds opt to cash in on Robertson.
The Greek has struggled for minutes during his time in Italy, making just four league starts for the capital outfit.
Robinson linked with Liverpool switch
The defending Premier League champions are also weighing up a summer move for Robinson as a long-term successor for Robertson at Anfield.
The US international has previously been linked with a move to the Merseyside giants and the Reds may renew their interest in the Fulham star once the campaign draws to a close.
The 28-year-old has dropped down the pecking order at Craven Cottage and has played second fiddle to Ryan Sessegnon at left-back for the Whites this season.
Following Saturday’s Premier League action, Fulham have closed the gap to Liverpool to just two points as they came from behind to claim a late 2-1 win over Brighton.
