Harry Amass has changed agents for the second time this season as he looks to push for a winter move.

The Manchester United graduate is expected to depart Old Trafford on loan in January after not being utilised anywhere near enough as he’d have hoped since 2026/2027 got underway.

Harry Amass: The state of play

Throughout the summer, it was anticipated that Amass would leave in order to play a prominent first-team role at another club, before returning to United in the summer of 2027 and having his situation assessed.

However, when INEOS opted against bringing in any full-back reinforcements in the dying embers of the window, the 19-year-old was kept in Michael Carrick’s squad for depth.

Yet, to fans’ surprise, Carrick has been uninterested in playing Amass, even though he has been without a natural left-back for the majority of the term thus far.

When both Luke Shaw and Patrick Dorgu have been sidelined over the last few weeks, the manager has shoehorned Leny Yoro into the right-back position so that Diogo Dalot can deputise on the left flank.

How Amass has been faring since being kept in the summer

Dorgu has returned to training today ahead of United’s Champions League clash with AS Roma tomorrow night, meaning game time now looks even more improbable for young Amass.

For the senior team, he has made just two appearances this campaign, both of which came in brief cameos off the bench in the UCL.

Amass, who’s previously been loaned to Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich City, featured for 18 minutes against Sabah on September 10 and for 11 minutes against Como on October 21.

He has only made a Premier League matchday squad on one occasion; against Leeds United at Elland Road, but he was an unused substitute.

Samuel Luckhurst has confirmed today that the defender has changed agencies from M+C Saatchi Football to Unique Sports Agency, the former of which he only joined in September.
