Jakirovic explains why Belloumi did not start Everton draw

Sergej Jakirovic explained why Mohamed Belloumi was left out of the starting 11 against Everton last weekend.

Jakirovic explained that it is normal for winger Belloumi to feel fatigue, as he was left out of the starting 11 against Everton after returning from international duty with Algeria.

‘”If a player approached you and said, Boss, I am not feeling good, I am a little bit exhausted,’ this is normal because we have other options,” he said. “We have [Joe] Gelhardt, who scored the goal [against Everton], which is perfect when you have a lot of quality in that position. Mo came in and also scored, which is great for the team.”

Geldhart scored in the draw against Everton and the Hull City boss spoke about the forward after he missed the beginning of the season with injury.
