Hurzeler gives updates on four Brighton stars ahead of derby clash

Fabian Hurzeler has provided a positive injury update on Yankuba Minteh and Mats Wieffer, with both Brighton players expected to return relatively quickly.

Kaoru Mitoma is likely to require a little more time, however, with Hurzeler hoping the winger can be available before the next international break.

“With Minteh and Mats Wieffer I think we will see a quite quick return,” Hurzeler said.

“With Kaoru I hope [for him to be back] for the international break, but we have to be a bit more patient.”

Hurzeler also offered an update on Pascal Struijk, who continues to be assessed ahead of Brighton’s game against Crystal Palace.

“He gets another day of recovery and we will see how he is tomorrow and then we make a decision,” he said.
