Hull City handed triple boost ahead of Everton meeting
Hull City have been boosted by the returns of three players to training ahead of their game against Everton.
Tim Iroegbunam, Brooke Norton-Cuffy and Morita are all set to be available for the clash, with Iroegbunam avoiding a serious issue after initial fears.
But Matt Targett is not set to be involved after sustaining an ankle issue.
“We have some problems,” boss Sergej Jakirovic said. “Today Matt Targett twisted his ankle in the training session so he’s out for this game but Morita came back, Brooke Norton-Cuffy came back also in the training sessions, and also Tim.
“So we have three more options for this game.”
Hull have also emerged from the international break without any fresh injury problems, though boss Sergej Jakirovic says he will assess the freshness of his sqiad.
“It is normal and it is mental. Sometimes it is normal fatigue. It is my responsibility that I have to try to choose the right one [player],” said Jakirovic.
“Of course, we have a lot of space for improvement. We are doing this every day, so we are trying. Sometimes a small mistake at this level is a goal,” added Jakirovic.
Striker Iliad Ansah remains sidelined too but could return to training soon.
