Chelsea are playing a low quality but high entertainment game against Man U, and one player in particular is struggling.

Chelsea and Manchester United have reached half time at 0-0 in a strange but entertaining game at Stamford Bridge.

Both teams have made lots of defensive mistakes, and it’s a very open affair. Both teams have also had their moments in attack. But they are both making it clear what they are – very flawed teams.

Chelsea have their excuses for their issues – don’t forget they’re without their first choice goalkeeper, striker, their captain and two best left backs. But those players on the pitch are good enough to do far better.

Chelsea fans and journalists call out Fofana shocker

One person getting the worst of the criticism is Wesley Fofana, who has continued to frustrated Chelsea fans pretty much since he arrived at the club.

“Welsey Fofana is having a shocker,” said Kieran Gill of the Daily Mail.

“He’s got to be off at half time” said influencer Charlie Patrick.

“Good god Wesley Fofana” said Lloyd Canfield of the Sun.

“Sub off Wesley Fofana,” said internet pundit CFCCentral.

To be fair to him, half the time he’s been put in these bad positions by his teammates. Marco Palestra has left him high and dry a couple of times. But Fofana has taken those situations and made them worse.

We said we would get some answers abut certain players in this game – and we certainly have. We’re not sure we like what we’ve found out.

Two Chelsea players who are starting today have been named as potential Ballon d’Or winners of the future on TNT Sport.
