Arsenal are set for a return to Highbury, and not in the way some would expect, as they travel to face League Two outfit Fleetwood Town in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

The Gunners continued their recent winning form with a 2-0 victory over Everton last time out with their defenders firing them to victory. Ezri Konsa put his side in front when he showed great instinct to prod in at the back post during a corner before Gabriel sealed the three points with a header from Ben White's cross.

With his side facing a team from three leagues below, Mikel Arteta will no doubt rotate his XI heavily for the trip to Highbury and is likely to offer chances to several fringe players and academy stars who are eager for first team minutes.

Here's how Arsenal could line up against Fleetwood.

Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Fleetwood Town (4-3-3)

Goalkeeper & Defenders

Kepa Arrizabalaga (GK) - Having been given a chance in the last Carabao Cup test, Kepa will no doubt return between the sticks for this one.

Martín Zubimendi (RB) - He has filled in at right back already this season and Zubimendi will likely do so again to give both Jurrien Timber and Ben White a rest.

Marli Salmon (CB) - After being trusted to start against fellow Premier League side Ipswich in the last round, Salmon should come back into the lineup against League Two Fleetwood.

Cristhian Mosquera (CB) - Having lost his place to Ezri Konsa following an injury, Mosquera should fill in at centre back for this test with the aim of proving himself to Arteta.

Piero Hincapié (LB) - A small injury hindered his chances of starting in the third round and having just returned from another issue, Hincapié should start at left back at Highbury.

Midfielders

Bruno Guimarães (CM) - After not starting against Everton, Guimarães will most likely return to the XI against Fleetwood and will be looking to dominate the midfield.

Myles Lewis-Skelly (CM) - Following another spell at left back, Lewis-Skelly should return to midfield to partner Guimarães tomorrow night.

Mikel Merino (AM) - Merino will play a more advanced role once again and will be eager to get on the scoresheet after doing so against Ipswich.

Forwards

Max Dowman (RW) - He starred in the previous round at Portman Road and after coming off the bench for a bright cameo at the weekend, Dowman will be looking for more of the same as he starts against Fleetwood.

Andre Harriman-Annous (ST) - Having made his debut at this stage of the competition last season, Harriman-Annous could be set for another start to give Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyökeres some respite.

Eberechi Eze (LW) - His performances on the left have been pretty mixed so far this campaign, but Eze will start on the flank once again with Arteta pretty low on other options.

Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Fleetwood Town: Kepa; Zubimendi, Salmon, Mosquera, Hincapié; Guimarães, Lewis-Skelly, Merino; Dowman, Harriman-Annous, Eze
