Patrick Dorgu has insisted there is nothing to celebrate for Manchester United despite rescuing a draw against Aston Villa.

Michael Carrick's side twice fought back from two goals down to earn a point in a dramatic encounter at Old Trafford.

Aston Villa scored twice inside the opening four minutes during an electric start from the visitors, as Alysson's strike squirmed through Senne Lammens inside the opening seconds. Three minutes later, Nicolas Jackson reacted to a rebound to score a second.

United were handed a lifeline when Bruno Fernandes scored from the penalty spot, and the score was level moments before half-time. Youri Tielemans scored his first Manchester United goal against the side he left in the summer.

The chaos continued after half-time. John McGinn put Aston Villa back ahead three minutes after the restart, as the Scot smashed a spot-kick past Lammens. A fourth arrived five minutes later. Leny Yoro headed a set-piece against his own crossbar with Leon Goretzka first to react.

Villa looked set to secure only a fifth league victory at Old Trafford in their history but threw the result away in stoppage time. Joshua Zirkzee's goal set up a frantic finish, before Dorgu headed in a 96th-minute leveller.

Dramatic 96th-minute leveller cannot hide United’s troubles as Dorgu says: “We are in a bad situation”

Despite the comeback, Dorgu said Manchester United have no reason to celebrate. United head into the international break 18th in the Premier League table.

"I don't feel happy - we are in a bad situation. We need to fight together to get out of it. Draw better than a loss but we had the better opportunities," he said to Sky Sports.

"Everyone needs to look at themselves and ask if they are doing enough. We need to fight for the manager, for the club and get out of this together.

"Of course it hurts [to be in relegation zone], there's a lot of games and we need everyone to come back sharp from international break and start getting wins."
