Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest predictions: Honours even between Euro stars

Palace drew 0-0 at Chelsea last Sunday
Forest began the season with a 3-1 win over Brentford
Recommended bet: Draw
Respective bosses Oliver Glasner and Nuno Espirito Santo, both critical of their clubs' transfer window, need to focus on matters on the pitch rather than matters off it when Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest meet at Selhurst Park.
Palace, now minus Eberechi Eze, are hoping to build on last week's 0-0 draw at Chelsea and debut European win over Norwegians Fredrikstad in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
Forest, who will feature in the UEFA Europa League next month, thumped Brentford 3-1 last week but Nuno remains unhappy evidently at the City Ground summer transfer strategy.
Team news
Palace boss Oliver Glasner needs to find a replacement for Arsenal-bound Eberechi Eze with either Justin Devenny or Romain Esse getting the nod.
Opposite number Nuno will be tempted to stick with a winning team though James McAtee, Omari Hutchinson, Douglas Luiz and Arnaud Kalimuendo, none of whom were involved in the squad for the 3-1 win over Brentford, will be chomping at the bit.
The stats
Palace have not won any of their 10 Premier League meetings with Forest.
Only Liverpool and Arsenal picked up more away points than Forest (33) last term.
Palace have drawn five of their last seven in the league.
Chris Wood has 33 goals in 53 appearances under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Without Eberechi Eze, Palace are missing a player who had six of their 11 shots at Chelsea last week.
Six of the last eight meetings between these teams have ended in draws.
Prediction
Draw specialists Palace can make it back-to-back Premier League stalemates - and three already this season - by sharing the spoils at home to Nottingham Forest.
Glasner's men kicked off the season with a pair of excellent draws - 2-2 against Liverpool in the Community Shield and 0-0 at Chelsea in the Premier League - before pipping Fredrikstad 1-0 in the Conference League on Thursday.
They did so without Eberechi Eze, the man who had six of Palace's 11 shots at Stamford Bridge and over 20 per-cent of their shots last season, and that makes them that much blunter. And they did not score many goals in the first place.
Forest have an in-form frontman in Chris Wood and they boast an impressive record against the Eagles, who they have not lost to in any of their last nine meetings.
Six of the last eight have been draws - seven of those eight producing two goals or less - so a low-scoring, tight affair is very much in the wind.
Five of Palace's last seven league games have also ended all-square.
