Carrick gives updates on Man Utd trio ahead of Leeds clash

Michael Carrick has revealed Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo remain doubts for Manchester United’s clash with Leeds, while Benjamin Sesko is still undergoing checks on his injury.

Shaw and Mainoo are both being assessed ahead of the game, with Carrick yet to make a final decision on their availability.

“We will see on Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo,” Carrick said.

There is less certainty over Sesko, who appears to be further away from a return.

“Ben is still undergoing a couple of checks before we update on timelines,” Carrick added.

“We are trying to be clear what that looks like.

“He is still a little bit further away but when we know a bit more we will let you know.”
