“Bayern Munich are pushing for it”: Will FCB swoop in the Premier League?

Bayern Munich reportedly remain very interested in signing Rio Ngumoha from Liverpool FC.

Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio told wettfreunde.net: "It is true that Bayern Munich want Rio Ngumoha, and it is true that Liverpool want to extend his contract, so it is a difficult situation, because anything is possible," he said.

In the summer, Sky reported that Bayern Munich had already reached a verbal agreement with Ngumoha. Coach Vincent Kompany had spoken to the teenager personally and convinced him. Bayern Munich did not then contact the Reds.

"It is hard to imagine Liverpool letting him leave," Di Marzio said. "Bayern Munich are pushing for him, and Arsenal are also interested," the transfer expert added.

The 18-year-old has already made nine competitive appearances for the Anfield side this season, registering two assists.
