Arsenal star says they want to win everything this season
Mikel Merino has made it clear that Arsenal want to win every trophy available this season as they continue their pursuit of success across multiple competitions. The Gunners have started the campaign strongly, raising expectations among supporters who believe the team can compete for major honours.
Arsenal have assembled one of the strongest squads in world football after investing heavily in their players. The club have several experienced performers who understand what it takes to win trophies, including two World Cup winners, giving the team valuable experience as they chase further success.
Their ambition is to build on their progress and turn their quality into silverware. With the squad performing well across competitions, the possibility of a historic campaign remains a major talking point among supporters.
Arsenal target success on every front
The Gunners are considered contenders in the competitions they are contesting, and their supporters expect the team to maintain its high standards. Arsenal have continued to show consistency, giving them reason to believe they can remain competitive throughout the season.
Merino has emphasised that the players recognise the significance of their recent performances. However, he also understands that winning matches consistently is difficult, meaning the squad cannot afford to become complacent as the campaign progresses.
The club have not abandoned their ambition of winning multiple trophies. Their focus remains on maintaining their form and giving themselves the best possible chance of achieving their objectives.
Merino outlines the team’s ambitions
Speaking about Arsenal’s winning run, which has lasted almost two years, Merino described the achievement as remarkable. As reported by ESPN, he said:
“It is an absolutely unbelievable run,”
“We know that we’re making history.
“At the same time, we know how difficult it is to win games, so we give a lot of value and credit to the team for what we’re doing.
“The goal and objective is to win the Champions League, to win the Premier League, to win everything. That’s what the manager wants. That’s what the fans want. That’s what we as players want, too.”
Although winning every trophy would be a demanding achievement, Arsenal intend to pursue their targets across the campaign. Maintaining their consistency and handling pressure will be crucial if they are to turn their ambitions into success.
