Arsenal and Chelsea stars named among nominees for Golden Boy award

Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsí, Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly and Chelsea duo Jorrel Hato and Estêvão are among the 20 nominees for the 2026 Golden Boy award.

The prize, organised by Italian newspaper Tuttosport, recognises the best young male player in European football.

Cubarsí is joined on the shortlist by Barcelona team-mate Marc Bernal, while Real Madrid have two nominees in Yan Diomande and Endrick.

Manchester City midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi has also been named, alongside Paris Saint-Germain’s Warren Zaïre-Emery and Brighton defender Luka Vuškovic.

Premier League representation includes Lewis-Skelly, Hato, Estêvão and Bournemouth pair Rayan and Junior Kroupi.

Bayern Munich’s Lennart Karl, Borussia Dortmund’s Konstantinos Karetsas and Juventus youngster Kerim Alajbegović are also among those in contention.
