When does Thomas Tuchel name his England squad for the Nations League?
Thomas Tuchel will name his England squad for the autumn internationals on Friday morning.
Tuchel will name his first England squad since a semi-final exit at the 2026 World Cup in the summer, as the Three Lions begin their UEFA Nations League campaign.
England enjoyed a best-ever World Cup finish on foreign soil in the summer, beating France in the third-place play-off, but the manner of the semi-final loss to Argentina remains vivid.
Tuchel now has his sights on building towards the 2028 European Championship which will be hosted in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The upcoming international break will feature four fixtures as part of a reschedule of the mid-season pauses.
England face world champions Spain at Wembley in the first fixture of the break, before taking on Czechia twice and Croatia. The four-fixture break ensures there will be only two international breaks before the new year.
