Video: With memories of his first goal, Kaka addresses Milan fans before the derby
"... some love never ends"
Ricardo Kaká has sent a message to Milan fans ahead of tonight's big derby against Inter in the tenth round of Serie A, a match that carries special meaning for the Brazilian legend.
His first goal for Milan came against Inter in October 2003, in a match the Rossoneri won 3-2. He hopes to see them do it again tonight.
Beyond the prestige of the "Derby della Madonnina", the evening carries extra weight because of what unfolds before kick-off. Milan will induct Kaká into the club's Hall of Fame, and he collects his award in front of a packed San Siro.
Earlier this afternoon, Milan posted a video on their official social media accounts in which Kaká delivers a "love letter" to the derby, along with footage of him greeting fans in the street.
Kaká wrote: "Dear Milan fans, the derby will remain engraved in my memory, and scoring my first goal during it was truly a unique feeling. Some magical moments are unforgettable, and some kinds of love never end." He added: "Forza Milan!".
Inter top Serie A with 25 points. Milan sit fifth on 18.
