Video: an all-Moroccan crisis: Hamdallah clashes with his team-mate in the Saudi league
A new crisis for the Moroccan striker
Morocco's Abderrazak Hamdallah has sparked a fresh crisis in the Saudi Roshn League, this time with one of his compatriots and Al-Taawoun team-mates.
Al-Taawoun hosted Al-Qadsiah on Tuesday at their stadium in Buraidah, in the tenth round of the Saudi Roshn League.
The striker clashed with his team-mate and compatriot Achraf Hadji, the Al-Taawoun captain, as the pair walked down the tunnel towards the dressing rooms at half-time, according to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Yaum".
It's the latest flashpoint in a turbulent few years for Hamdallah. His most recent run-in came at Al-Shabab, where he fell out with former team-mate Yannick Carrasco of Belgium.
Al-Taawoun are the fifth Saudi club the Moroccan has represented since the start of this season, following Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad and Al-Shabab, plus Al-Hilal at the 2025 Club World Cup.
Hadji, by contrast, has served Al-Taawoun for roughly five years. He joined from Poland's Wisła Kraków in January 2022 and now wears the captain's armband.
