Celtic are back in action on Wednesday night when they face in-form Dundee United on the back of Sunday's win over Hibs. The Bhoys remain top of the Premiership and in fine league form, but they are not the only team with wind in their sails.

United are unbeaten in five, and they have won three of their last four, so they will arrive at Parkhead full of belief.

Here we take a look at the Celtic starting XI Martin O'Neill should go with for the game.

GK - Viljami Sinisalo

O'Neill has gone with Sam Johnstone of late, but his distribution just isn't good enough. Sinisalo needs to come back in.

LB - Kieran Tierney

The games are piling up for Tierney, who doesn't usually deal with this much football very well, but with an easier game with Falkirk on the weekend, he may be asked to play here and rest on the weekend.

CB - Liam Scales

We will work on the assumption that Trusty will not return yet, and Scales has been playing well of late in any case.

CB - Cameron Carter-Vickers

Carter-Vickers has been Celtic's best centre-back this season, and while Dane Murray has deputised well, CCV should be the preferred option when fit.

RB - Colby Donovan

Donovan is likely to keep his place, especially now that Alistair Johnston has picked up a fresh issue. Jordan Lotomba is also an option.

CDM - Callum McGregor

McGregor is struggling in Europe, but he is having no such issues in the league. He will likely keep his place here.

CDM - Mika Baur

Baur is also likely to keep his place, with Celtic heavily relying on him to provide the ball-playing factor in the middle. With Dundee United in good form, rotation is likely to wait until the weekend.

CAM - Benjamin Nygren

Nygren played a key role in the second goal over the weekend and has had a good run of games where he has been more influential.

RW - Haissem Hassan

Hassan should come back in due to a likely change up top.

LW - Jota

Jota could be in line for his first start here, even if he only plays a half or a little more. Callum Osmand has started three on the bounce after returning from injury, and Celtic are going to have to be careful not to overload him, while Sebastian Tounekti is out of form and Yang Hyun-jun is not likely to be available.

CF - Camilo Durán

O'Neill surely can't start Hogh again here due to his poor form and lack of goals. Durán is scoring for fun, and it's only right that he starts in his most natural position toi maximise that.
